Kondel Fudge

Delicious and easy fudge recipe

Equipment

  • medium cook pot
  • cake pan

Ingredients
  

  • cup sugar
  • 12 fl oz evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • ½ lb min marshmallows can add more
  • 2 oz bitter chocolate cut in pieces
  • 12 oz chocolate chips semi-sweet or milk
  • 3 pkg German's sweet chocolate cut in pieces
  • 1 c chopped nuts optional

Instructions
 

  • In a medium pot, bring evaporated milk, butter, sugar, and vanilla to a boil while stirring continuously
    3½ cup sugar, 12 fl oz evaporated milk, 1/2 cup butter, 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • When this comes to a boil turn heat on low.
  • Cover and boil 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes take off stove and add marshmallows, all chocolate, and nuts
    ½ lb min marshmallows, 2 oz bitter chocolate cut in pieces, 12 oz chocolate chips, 3 pkg German's sweet chocolate cut in pieces, 1 c chopped nuts
  • Mix well
  • Pour on sponge cake pan
  • Cool and cut

Notes

Yields 5 lbs candy
*This tastes very good spread over rice krispies crunch (covers 3 1/2 cake trays)
